The prices are established :
- In euros for the countries of the EEC and the countries of France of
overseas.
- For all the other countries, the payment should be done on the parity
of the day of invoicing.
- The prices of our products mean H.T., postage and packing not included.
- Our prices are those in force at January 1, 2005, except typographical
error. They are revisable constantly according to the availabilities.
- The fact of placing order near the Editions Maisonneuve implies the
acceptance of our general conditions of sale. The photographs and illustrations
of this site are noncontractual.
All prices doesn't include postage and packing
charge. Postage and packing
charges, calculated according to the weight and volume of the articles,
will be added.
Transport and delay of delivery :
The orders are from day to day treated (except
particular books) : as of reception of the payment of the customer,
the order is recorded, conditioned and dispatched into 48 H (except weekend
and public holidays). The times of routings are those of the post office
(or of the conveyor).
We send the parcels in registered with the most
economic possible postage
rate suggested by the post office: it is send by surface mail :
train or boats for the most distant countries. For those the current times
are 15 days to 3 months following the countries.
If you wish fast delivery (colissimo international
by air mail...), you must specify it to us while placing order. The postage
rate are much more expensive and we will be able on request to give
you a personalized rate.
If you wish to be delivered by particular conveyors
(UPS, Chronoposte....) you must specify it to us while placing order.
In this case the delivery will be done and carriage costs being directly
invoiced to you by the conveyor.
For sendings by Prisme, a share in the costs is required.
Incidents of transport :
The sendings travel to the expenses, risks and
dangers of the recipient (usually by post officere commended) .We decline
all responsibilities concerning the damage and damages resulting from
the only fact from transport from the goods.
The compensation for this type of damages of transport
being laid down and being regulated in the national legislations and the
International Conventions, the purchaser must, in the event of noted disaster,
to state this one directly with the conveyor as soon as possible in order
to be able to be compensated.
Do not omit to make reserves of transport if a parcel is deteriorated.
It is always desirable to unpack the goods in the presence of the conveyor.This
is obligatory if a damage is noted (the mention "subject tounpacking"
is not enough).

When remitting by
direct bank transfer, please make sure that you instruct your bank to
communicate
the number(s) of the invoice(s) to which the payment pertains.

payment must be to carry out always without expenses of bank. The customer
is responsible for all bank charges incurred in making the payment. ...You must add 25 € bank
charges to the amount of your invoice if payment made by : check
to be drawn only on a foreign bank (check in euros and to be
drawn on a french bank = 0 € charges). ...Credit transfer from out
of the EU : You must add 20 € bank charges to the amount
of your invoice if payment made by :
credit transfer or bank orders by a foreign bank including bank charges.
(payments SEPA - Single Euro Payments Area - are without any charges).
Litigations :
In the event of dispute, the exclusive responsibility
is allocate to the commercial court of Paris.
Reserve property :
The provided goods will remain our property until
the complete payment of the price (law n° 80-335 of May 12, 1980)
Exchange or return :
Any complaint concerning one of our articles must
be formulatedimperatively within 8 day following the reception of the
goods andafter having obtained our prior agreement within this same 8
day.
Any authorization of return and/or exchange is obligatorily subjected
to our prior agreement : to obtain this authorization of exchange
or return, please beforehand contact us.
The books must be in perfect state, not read, not comprising any trace
of label or other. Any goods having received a beginning of use or transformation
could not be taken again or exchanged.
The returns will have to be carried out by surface mail.
The expenses of reforwarding of the books are the responsibility of the
customer in the event of ascribable error to the customer.
The products returned in port due or against-refunding will be refused.
